It all started with a dream…
Before the “Honeymoon,” owners and bakers Tim & Joan O’Connor met while studying at the Culinary Institute of America in New York in 1983. Since then, the culinary duo have been partners in both love and food.
They’ve done everything from catering expansive film productions in Manhattan to owning and operating their own Italian restaurant in Massachusetts.
In 1996, they opened Honey Moon Sweets Bakery & Dessert Bar in Tempe, Arizona. The thriving bakery provides gourmet cakes and fine pastries to more than 100 of Arizona’s top restaurants, resorts, catering companies and specialty food stores.
The retail dessert bar offers guests a selection of cookies, petit sweets, breakfast pastries and custom cakes. We always welcome requests for items that are gluten-free or made without certain allergens. Within the cake showroom, guests can order and customize gourmet cakes for weddings and special occasions.
